This site gives instructions on how to dress a wound properly. I have a CPR/First Aid book but was trying to find instructions, maybe even pictures of how to dress a wound, online so that we could print it out and put it on our poster. I know this site does not have pictures but I thought the steps were really good; I also liked that it had reminders/tips at the end of it. I think this is something that is important for the Boy Scout's to learn/know!

Disaster Relief Kit
http://blog.compassion.com/disaster-relief-kit/
This site shows a homemade kid kind of like what we will be making for this class. These people made the kit for survivors of a hurricane in Honduras. Some of the items that were included are powdered milk, six liters of water, a blanket, four diapers, candy, toilet paper, first aid kit, bar of soap, cans of sardines, cans of fruit, etc. Overall I think this kit is very specific to certain needs. Not all people will need diapers and I think that the food items selected are okay but are not necessarily high in calories, which I feel is necessary.

Disaster Preparedness Kit

This site sells kits used during a disaster. Some items include a first aid kit, a blanket, duct tape, safety goggles, rain poncho, light sticks, gloves, water packets, and food. I think this kit is a great idea; however, I'm not so sure that the duct tape would be a must. I think most of the items are great for an idea survival kit.
